I had an absolutely amazing experience completing my Holistic Massage and Sports Massage Level 3&4 qualifications with SMCE, training at the beautiful Finca de Naranjas in Playa Paraíso. From the very beginning, I felt so supported and encouraged, especially by my amazing mentor, Elaine Whillock. Elaine is incredibly knowledgeable, patient and passionate about what she does. She made the practical training enjoyable, relaxed and easy to understand, while also challenging me to become more confident and professional as a massage therapist. I really enjoyed the combination of home study and practical training. Being able to learn the theory in my own time and then put everything into practice during the hands-on sessions was a great way to learn. The training gave me a much deeper understanding of massage, anatomy and different techniques, and I finished feeling much more confident in my abilities. Completing these qualifications has helped me take a big step towards building my career in massage therapy. I’m so grateful to SMCE and, in particular, to Elaine for all her guidance, encouragement and support throughout my journey. I would 100% recommend SMCE to anyone looking to start or develop a career in massage and the health and fitness industry. I had an amazing experience with Elaine. She is a fantastic teacher, which I learned a lot from. I completed the Deep Tissue course with myofascial meridians. She was very tuned into what we needed. The group was small so we could each take our time understanding the techniques. She gave me the confidence to move forward with my career in massage therapy. I completed my massage training with SMCE and couldn't be happier with the decision. I chose SMCE for its reputation and certification, and it lived up to expectations. Elaine is a fantastic teacher knowledgeable, detail-oriented, and great at explaining. What I loved most was that we started practicing massage from day one; that hands-on approach made the techniques click, and the theory made much more sense afterward. The T3 location was excellent: great facilities, well organized, and a comfortable space to learn in. Tenerife itself is a beautiful, relaxing setting, perfect for combining study with some downtime. Choosing SMCE was one of the best decisions I made. Elaine was highly recommended to me, and from the very beginning the course exceeded all my expectations. I loved the blended learning format because it gave me the flexibility to study at home using the recommended books and videos before attending the practical training. I felt well prepared, which meant I could really focus on developing my hands-on skills during the live sessions. For my second course I chose the private 1:1 tuition and it was incredible. I learned so much and always felt supported throughout my training. Since qualifying, my certification has opened amazing opportunities for me, including working in mountain resort in the Alps. I wholeheartedly recommend SMCE to anyone thinking about starting a career in massage therapy. The training in the beautiful surroundings of Tenerife makes the whole experience even more special. I chose SMCE because it offered both Level 3 & 4 Sports Massage qualifications for beginners. The course syllabus was comprehensive, well structured and very practical! After comparing various courses across different countries, SMCE stood out as the best fit for me. The blended learning programme was extremely effective, allowing me to continue with my normal routine/ working life while incorporating self study in the months leading up to the live practical training. Training at T3 was a fantastic experience. Elaine was an amazing teacher, combining extensive knowledge, professionalism, care and humour in a way that made every session engaging and memorable! The course was very insightful, academically challenging and delivered in a very relaxed and fun environment. The Tenerife location was an added bonus! This qualification has given me the confidence to begin my journey in sports massage and holistic massage therapy with great excitement. It has opened the door to a completely new professional path and inspired me to continue developing my skills and knowledge in the field. I would highly recommend SMCE to anyone considering massage therapy. The course structure was excellent, the teaching was of the highest standard and the positive dynamic among the other learners made the experience even more interactive and rewarding. Being able to learn the theory independently and then apply it during the intensive practical training helped reinforce my understanding and build confidence. Another valuable aspect was having the chance to not only practice techniques on others, but also to receive treatments ourselves. After a challenging journey of rehab following a serious motorbike accident, I decided to pursue a career as a Personal Trainer specialising in injury rehabilitation and general fitness.
