This course is suitable for complete beginners. If you are interested in gaining a professional Level 3 Holistic Diploma Certificate – which will allow you to work professionally and with full insurance – you can complete additional post-course case studies and academy Level 3 theory papers. The maximum number of students per course is 10, and they will work in different pairs on each day, allowing them to experience how different each body can feel.
Students will be required to give their partners feedback on the performance of massage to help raise their awareness to depth of pressure, the timing of sequence, rhythm, application of technique.
Course Content:
Massage techniques of effleurage, petrissage and tapotement
How to release tight muscles with correct techniques, sequencing, depth of pressure, rhythm, and speed
Foot and head massage techniques and sequencing
Body Mechanics
No case studies
No final exam
Diploma awarded on final day of class.
